West Coast Lyric Works is organized as a charitable non-profit benefit corporation for the purpose of promoting the art form of opera and its supporting art forms in the greater community. Its mission is to:

  • cultivate young talent through innovative productions,
  • develop a greater awareness and appreciation for this art form through seminars, programs and master classes,
  • recognize and give opportunities to minorities and women,
  • invest in the future of the society's cultural heritage through the promotion of new work.
